FREE PRINTABLE: A Simple Weekly To-Do Planner For Kids

One of the things I really suck at as a parent is keeping a schedule. It’s just not in my nature, well it’s not now since I work for myself. Back in the corporate days, everything was scheduled – now…. not so much. Throw in 4 kids, virtual schooling, sports, church and life —- we have CHAOS!

So in order to calm some of the chaos without changing who I am… I can’t change that, sorry folks. I decided to knock what I can out with simple hacks. So for virtual schooling, something that we’ve struggled with is getting the kids to understand the school’s online calendar, which is also their task list. It’s just not intuitive or kid friendly. I couldn’t find anything online that I liked and Target and Amazon failed me — soooo…. I just created my own. And it’s working! We are on week 2 of successfully checking of the kids using these and if it works for them – maybe, hopefully, *crossing fingers for a YES!* that it will work for your kids too – or hell maybe even YOU.

So here it is in all it’s glory and it’s setup to print nice and evenly on paper when printed thru a Deskjet. Side note: I think they need a desktop printer that will print a full-bleed, yeah thanks get on that HP!

7 days represented, with tasks to do on Monday thru Friday. There’s a space for putting chores/sports/etc. We’ve been sitting down on Sunday nights to do this. I include everything that is going on that pertains to them. This is really helpful for them kids to see the whole week at a glance. My son tapes his on the wall next to him, so he always knows what’s up.  I really with there was a virtual school planner that is paper provided by the school, but you know what – this will work. Even digital me, likes having things written down for me to see as I am working.
